Tribute Guidelines
If your cat has passed away due to complications from Chronic Kidney Disease, you have our deepest sympathy. If you wish to have a Tribute posted in their memory, kindly read the following guidelines:
I. Because research is so sorely underfunded, we very respectfully request a minimum donation of $150 to post a Tribute. You can make a donation here at our website, or via mail to:

II. After making your donation, please send us the following via e-mail to [email protected]:
A. A clear photo of your cat in JPEG format. (If you happen to have more than one favorite that we can choose from, then please send them; it's helpful to have some flexibility in designing the Tribute, aligning the various items on the page, etc.);
B. Your cat’s name;
C. Approximate date of your cat’s birth or adoption, and the date that they passed away.
D. A brief paragraph (200 words maximum) telling us a little bit about your cat, and about what made them very special;
E. The name, if any, that you wish to have listed at the bottom of the Tribute. (Some people choose to place their family name, others who prefer a bit more privacy have requested listing of a first name and last initial.)
F. Please have a look at the Tributes currently on the "Tributes" page; these will serve as a helpful guideline.
III. We rarely edit the information that is provided for Tributes, and have never refused to post a Tribute. But:
A. We reserve the right to refuse to post a Tribute. Please do not include any hashtags, or any other material that could be construed as promotional in your text. Please do not include any obscene language or images. We reserve the right to make minor edits to your text for the sake of proper grammar, punctuation, spelling, clarity, or for length if you go over the limit in II. D. above, or to remove any inappropriate material, such as obscene or promotional text. We reserve the right to make minor edits to your photo, such as cropping or adjusting exposure, to optimize it’s appearance on the website.
Thank you very much in advance for providing support for groundbreaking research in memory of your beloved feline family member. We look forward to honoring your cat on the "Tributes" page.
